JC Lawyers are always on hand to help you with your queries, big or small. Just give us a call.
JC Lawyers first opened its doors in 2014. Jo Clay, Director, previously worked in Ripley and the Derby area for over 13 years before setting up a bespoke Property Law firm.
JC Lawyers are regulated by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) which means that we are specialists in Property Law. We are an enthusiastic group of Lawyers that have worked within the Derbyshire area for many years offering tailored Conveyancing Services to people in the local community. We can also undertake the Legal Administration of a deceased person’s Estate and can help you with the preparation of a Will and/or Power of Attorney.
At JC Lawyers, we believe that people want legal advice to be delivered by qualified professionals in an easy to understand friendly manner. All of our Lawyers practice in their chosen specialist field so you will receive the best possible advice and guidance throughout your legal journey.
When choosing a legal service provider, one of the most important things to consider is the cost. JC Lawyers offer a fixed fee promise so you will know what you are paying from the outset and there will be no surprises at the end.
To keep you in the loop, we have SMS/email updates and our same day call back promise as standard. You can of course also contact us by email and/or post.
Unlike some traditional law firms, we do not close for lunch and are open from 9 am until 5.00 pm Monday to Friday and there is always a member of staff on hand to assist you.
Please be aware that there is a significant risk posed by cyber fraud, specifically affecting email accounts and bank account details.

Please check account details with us in person if in any doubt. We will not accept responsibility if you transfer money into an incorrect bank account
